Requesting an Enhanced Tier visit

Proposing times, paying, and what the assessor does on the day.

If your assessment recommends Enhanced Tier, the next step is an in-person vulnerability assessment by a PROVA assessor. You request it from the site's dashboard.

Step 1: Click "Request Enhanced Tier Assessment"

It appears on the site dashboard once the site qualifies. You'll see a summary of what the visit involves and the cost before anything is committed.

Step 2: Propose some times

Pick a few dates and times that suit you. Assessors work in business hours for your site's timezone. The more options you give, the sooner one can be confirmed.

Step 3: Pay for the licence

Enhanced Tier is charged per site. Payment is taken through the same secure Stripe checkout as your subscription. Your request is submitted once payment completes.

What happens next

PROVA assigns an assessor who covers your area. They accept one of your proposed slots and you receive a confirmation by email and in the app, with a link to confirm the appointment. If none of your times work for them, you'll be asked to propose more.

On the day

The assessor walks the premises with your Premises Controller, works through a checklist of vulnerability indicators, takes photos and notes, and discusses additional measures with you. Allow half a day.

Cancelling or rescheduling

Open the request on the site dashboard. Rescheduling before the visit is free; cancellations close to the date may be charged.

While the assessment is in progress

The site's Standard Tier assessment can't be retaken until the Enhanced Tier assessment completes, since the visit is based on it.
